We are currently fundraising for our first project: a community centre to be built in Kabala, Sierra Leone, West Africa. One of our founders, Fazineh Keita, was a child soldier during that country’s civil war, and knows well the after-effects and healing that need to happen. Our goal is to provide this community with a medical clinic, a clean water well, food, education, skills training and art and sport therapy programs to give opportunities and break the cycles of violence and poverty from being passed down from generation to generation.

Allison Crowe Band in Concert
Friday, November 13, 2015, 8:00 p.m. in St. James Hall.
Musical explorer Allison Crowe uniquely inhabits the world of song with a richly expressive repertoire for piano, vocals, guitar and bodhran. She’s toured with Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet and cameos in the Hollywood Superman blockbuster “Man of Steel”. Crowe’s “supernaturally agile and exquisite voice” is complemented ideally by the sublime harmonies and stellar musicianship of Billie Woods (guitar, vox), Celine Greb (cello, vox), and Dave Baird (bass).
