A celebration of Flamenco music and song starting with a performance by Victor Kolstee (and local singers) and finishing on a high note with world-renowned flamenco guitarist Juan Requena and singer Jose Valencia.

Joy of Jazz is a series of 3 concerts starting November 27, 2014. The other two concerts will be held February 14, 2015 and May 31, 2015. Show time is 7:30 p.m., in St. James Hall.
The first in the series, Heart & Soul, Thursday, November 27, 2014, features Karin Plato, along with Jillian Lebeck, Adam Thomas and James Danderfer. Jillian Lebeck and Adam Thomas perform vocal duets in the first set; Karin Plato will perform the second half of the evening as her band and with the brilliant clarinetist, James Danderfer as special guest.
Valentine’s Day, Saturday, February 14, 2015, with Bill Coon and Darren Radtke, features Toronto-based vocalist John Alcorn making his first Vancouver appearance. He will be singing with the always incredible duo of Bill Coonand Dareen Radtke.
Sunday, May 31, 2015, Kate McGarry (USA) with Keith Ganz.American jazz vocalist Kate McGarry and guitarist Keith Ganz make their Canadian debut, and it is with delight that we present this Grammy nominated artist in the finale show of 2015.

The Kits Classics+Worlds Beyond concert series opens its 17th season on Sunday, November 23rd, 2014, with music by Spanish composers Granados and da Falla performed by flutist Elizabeth McBurney, clarinetist Johanna Hauser, and guitarist Adrian Verdejo.
Vancouver’s great professional musicians join forces in trios quartets, or quintets to perform their favourite chamber music in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
